El Paso Community Action Program: Project BRAVO

SERVICES: The weatherization, heating & cooling and refrigerator replacement programs are three of the services provided by Project BRAVO for low-income families, handicapped, and senior citizens. Applications for these programs are taken at all the six Project BRAVO Centers. Upon meeting the qualifications for the program the client is put on a list. Priority is given to the elderly and handicapped individuals, and then others meet the requirements will follow.

SERVICES: Center based meals are served in 21 sites throughout the County. Also has a homebound meals program for senior citizens. The Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) and the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) assesses potential clients for referral to the County homebound meal program.
