In order to accomplish this goal, we want to make it clear what types of skills and specifications you would need before applying. The Job Specifications page lists all jobs and the requirements. It does not mean the job is currently available, job specifications are for you to scope out the qualifications for a job.

Once you have figured out what to apply for, head over to the Job Opportunities page to check for open positions. Do not be discouraged if no spots are available right now, sign up for Job Notifications to be notified when a position is open.

If you are an employee already, keep an eye on Promotional Jobs that may pop up. These jobs are only available to city employees and are meant for those looking to rise up in the ranks.

Current classified employees who are interested in a transfer can apply for a Transfer Request.

If you recently left city employment and wish to reinstate to your previous classified position, you can apply for a Reinstatement.
