Purpose

Previously known as Neighborhood Services, the Civic Empowerment team works with residents on neighborhood capacity building by developing and coordinating leadership, educational, and neighborhood-oriented opportunities for the community. • To revitalize, improve and maintain the quality of El Paso's neighborhoods by communicating with residents and addressing their concerns and needs.
  • Connect residents to City services related to neighborhood needs.
  • Provide support and assistance for the development and sustainability of neighborhood associations.
  • Serve as a source of communication between the City of El Paso and El Paso's neighborhoods.
