The Parks & Recreation Aquatics Division sponsors a competitive summer swim league.
The goal of the summer league program is to stimulate an interest in competitive swimming and provide a means through which youth may learn leadership, the principles of good sportsmanship, values of physical fitness, advanced aquatic skills, encourage and develop teamwork, establish a love for the sport of swimming, and community spirit.
We hope that each swimmer will leave the team with basic skills in all four competitive strokes, a love of swimming, new friendships and great memories.
A participant must be able to swim the length of the pool without stopping or assistance. This is a safety factor during practices and meets.
Please check back as summer approaches to find more information regarding registration and participation.
